Changing Background

Noticed a recent post talking about how they wanted to change their background to something else but they were worried about VAC. It just crossed my mind that I'm genuinely surprised that there isn't a type of changer for in game use, maybe to change the background to another map. So my suggestion is this.

You can change your background to any of the CS:GO maps that are in Competitive Game play. You would change it like you change the weapon your player is holding on the main page. Simple addition and I think it would add a type of customization to CS:GO that hasn't really been there in the past.

Would love feedback on this idea.

Steam has workshops.

For comp, it is just going to be used as a cheat. Don't say it won't because user will find a way if that was possible. So, if someone does do this, it will eventually be added to the VAC syatem as a cheat definition.

Wait what? How would they use it as a cheat? Its just like the Nuke background, just a different map. And they wouldn't be able to use workshop maps, just IG maps.

It was alot cooler with the Halloween Cobble background... On one hand I think You can't get VAC because You're changing cliend-side thing (You can change Fonts without any problems etc..), but on other, You can get VAC for using skin changers, which are also only client-sided thing... You may can replace file in CSGO folder, but i don't know if it would work and how it works...

Alright, I think I might have made a misleading title.

This would be implemented into the game. Not an external program or anything in the files. You just change it like you would change your gun that the main guy is holding. You wouldn't have to deal with VAC since it would be in the game for everyone.
