how to get out of fullscreen windowed

In Steam CS GO Launch options, try setting a width and height. -w 1024 -h 768
Restart the game.
Then change resolution in the game to Full Screen.
You can also use Alt + Enter to switch between window and full screen but it is better to do the options inside of the game.

Edit: Make sure your config files are not read only. Google searching will help you locate your configuration files in your Steam userdata.

There is also a file called video.txt I believe. Google "how to reset CS GO settings"

Yes this looks like quite a bug. First of all, how did you get Silver 1? I don't think I can ever get to this rank no matter how much I lose playing with lower ranked friends.

You should check to see if your Video driver is correctly installed. If you have glitches in other games, you want to look up DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller)

This will completely eradicate your Video card driver. Then you can begin a fresh install.

If the problem is with Counter Strike, then you need to delete your Video related configuration files. I don't have this information handy but Google has plenty of it.

ok thanks for the help. and i got silver because i used to play on a old 10y old laptop that would dc every other game. now im like 400 games deep into silver sooo im basically ♥♥♥♥♥♥ only way i can get decent games is through wingman or faceit
