Airpods don't work with CS:GO

If i connect my Airpods to my Windows 10 PC they do not work on csgo, anyone know how to fix this?

You have to relaunch CS:GO if you change the audio output or you have to go into the options and explicitly set this new audio output in this game settings.

well i do have a normal gaming headset but just wanted to try it with airpods

Haha well, no, ofcourse i already tried that.
I'll just play with headphones which is better anyways.

I got the problem when I launch the game but you just need to disconnect your airpods from your pc (or laptop) then reconnect it, put it as default, launch the game and you will get the sound in your airpods (I have airpods 2) and you can speak with it (I know its a bit late but if it can help)

Disable the Handsfree Airpods device in the Sounds settings of Windows. And put the Airpods as default device
