My csgo sound is muffled *FIXED*

So I decided to update the conexant drivers today and my csgo sound (ONLY WITH HEADPHONES) was muffled . I dont know how to fix it (I tryed reinstalling the game and installing the old drivers) Please help

You need to disable speaker sound effect extension I believe its called that (sorry english isnt my main language)
So you need to go to your sound settings in windows then select output, the speakers youre using (or headphones) right click it, click on details I believe then go to setting or whatever it is (its third from left) and uncheck the sound effect extensions

If ppl are still having problems try typing "snd_mixahead 1" in console. This worked for me.

Hey i have the same problem, i just changed my headphone HS50 Corsair to the Hyperx cloud alpha, this is lony happening in csgo and not in the other games, please help !
