CSGO Premium price to stop cheaters buying new accounts...
Anyone think that it would be a good idea for valve to increase the price of csgo to £40 in an attempt to stop cheaters creating new accounts and purchasing multiple copies of csgo? With the amount of updates csgo is getting lately i feel that the game deserves a premium price and i think it will put off cheaters returning once banned making the game experience better for everyone else. I feel that £40 for csgo is a fair price, i have more hrs on csgo than any other game that i paid premium price for making csgo worth its value, its too cheap atm and invites cheaters to keep returning....People think these recent updates are a good sign, but what good are updates when no one wants to play the game due to cheaters...Also why cant valve ban mac addresses rather than just accounts....

people cheat on faceit and esea i know, but they are cheap subsciptions....cheap csgo accounts are the reason people cheat on mm, faceit and esea, because if there caught then they can make new accounts, but if the game cost them £40 then perhaps that would help as people arent going to pay £40 each time they are banned. There cheat carries on free or sub whatever, but its the fact the game is cheap that they keep returning....

people cheat to boost accounts so they can sell them. So they would charge more for the boosted account. competitive game equals cheaters

yeah that is true i played 2 month premium and there are lots of cheaters i dont think that this game will be clear from 2002 to 2018 there are lots of cheaters

aye perhaps, cheaters trying to sell boosted accounts is one thing, but would people pay the increased prices, and if yes, what percentage of customers did they loose who decided they wont pay increased prices, making the whole bussiness plan questionable, and its not just boosters and acc sellers cheating, i imagine the majority of cheaters are just plain jo cheaters who cheat to get ahead, and wouldnt consider returning to cheating once caught or perhaps uninstall cheats all together once they realise they risk loosing a £40 game...

i already post this befor and i got 48h ban ,this forum dont allow free expretion ,and probably you will get the same thing
its for sure ppl cheat because this game cost 5$ in russia and turk counties ,this doesnt mean that russians who cheat ,but all the worldwide can use vpn to buy this game cheap on deffrent account ,just because 5$ worth a fun time for some cheaters
i am from africa ,and even with bad salary i managed to get this game ,i just dont understand why russians and chines buy this game for 5$ when africans pay the same price as us and eu stores ! well if someone undestand economy let me know why ,because for me it seems racial
and for those who say even on faceit premium ppl still cheat ,yes maybe ,this will not solve the cheat problem ,but it will limitate it ,it least 50% will stop cheating
but dont worry this will NEVER happen because valve want this game to be most player base daily ,and they will not update this countries price since its them who make this game most played daily

Well that isn't the best for Valve. I think CSGO is cheap as it is so the cheaters do come back nonstop

I think it is an good idea.
idk. GTA was/is really more expensive and there where still a lot of modders and cheaters rebuying after their second perma ban. And GTA is even not a competitive game.

PUBG is also at a higher price then CS but there are still cheaters.
Hinzee Oct 30, 2018 @ 4:31am
Like if someone is banned 15 times, thats 15x the current price of CSGO that the cheater is PAYING VALVE. So the cheaters lose lots of money over time and Valve makes more money which means they can invest more in keeping the games up to date and hiring new devs which means more updates, fixes, and new content.

aha didnt realise topic was raised before, guess the csgo community go round in circles dealing with the frustration of cheats....least in gta the cheats got dumped into a cheaters only lobby....never thought about trying to purchase a game cheap using a vpn...

If valve want there game to be cheap allowing cheats to return giving valve a constant income from cheaters then maybe valve could introduce 128tick premium servers that players pay £40 to gain access too, no reason for cheaters to pay £40 to gain access as they risk loosing that £40, also they would have the 64tick servers to spam there cheats in already....

Increasing the price-tag doesn't ameliorate cheating.

The AC systems in place have take precedence when it comes to that job.

Using a VPN in conjunction with store purchases wil result in the termination of an account.

It's not possible to stop a user from re-creating an account.

Cheaters don't actually bring POTENTIAL income.

How so?

As per...

aye i neva wud use vpn to purchase with, vpn makes payments awkward anyway as ive accidently left it on when tryin to pay bills in the past....i read the post linked, im not sure how much cheaters influence the games income, though if its 0.5% of the community chaeting then obv that wont b impacting the games income much, and i agree that not addressing cheaters is what affects the games stability as a whole, income n community.....discussing the same issue over and over seems to trigger some people, but for others, discussions is in a bid hopin that someone takes note and maybe does something :/
owel, im all vented, thanks for discussions......
