100% respect to dead METJM and glws.
Valve Killed Trading. Occam's Razor: the simplest explanation is generally the more accurate.
No trade volume -> No need for ANY expensive to operate 3rd party pixel apps. (yes. Occam's Razor again there)
METJM wont be coming back, as it's now economically worthless for any dev to devote time/effort/money (it cost a lot to do what METJM created/ran) on pixel examinations in this game.
Again in conclusion, IT'S NO FUN TO TRADE IN CSGO ANYMORE. people left. and it's been like that for a while now, more leaving than coming in.Trading wont be making a comeback because it generates Valve no money via person to person trading anyhow. the easy commission they make on the Community Market is obliviously all they care about.
btw - I'm an actual real, you might say larger than normal, trader in CSGO. ...well i was. you can view my "pixel museum" on my account. I keep it to show what once was a fascinating, fun, unique experience. that Valve let die. Valve seems to just let awesome things they create die in case you missed the Half-life and Left for Dead...deadness too.
maybe its panorama fault and they will fix it or maybe they wont allow to use csgo skin models like OPskins
Google "roadkill"
and then, in your mind, replace that dead carcass on the pavement with the words METJM and an 18 wheel semi-trailer loaded with pallets of cash barreling off into the sunset (Valve.)
Facts don't care about your feelings. Valve killed trading in general with it's forced hold(s).
Trading person-to-person in csgo skins is now a ghost of what it WAS here. I know, I was here the whole time. i think i have 8000 trades or so, lots of big dollar tier1 skins in that too. I know what I'm talking about. Do you really?
Maybe qualify/expand your option on this subject next time, Irene. It's known as "debating a subject". i dont think a lot of debating is going on in schools/colleges anymore so i can kind of see your view. unfortunately.
well... somewhat yes but more accurately no it's not. unfortunately.
cs.money is a 3rd party trading platform (one off the few last standing) that now has it's own snapshot features but it's only for the user who logs into it's service. EG you can't pull snapshots from any other steam inventory accounts with just cs.money, only your own personal stuff.
METJM was (it's gone forever) the widely used universal Steam inventory snapshot/float/pattern skin inspection trading tool website. It was incredibly convenient due to the fact you didnt need to fire up the CS:GO game. super efficient. a "happy" thing to use. the world needs more "happy" things imho
funny yet sad about cs.money is how cringe worthy the experience you have trading on Steam Community Market verse the heavy user focus coded into cs.money. they made even trading to a "bot" fun .. lol +1 to cs.money even if they are in it for the money. and who isnt!
i've always found it strange how you dont see more people ask/question, "Man, why cant Valve with all it's top in the sector people/resources and billion (with a B) dollar bank account do a better job then some small random room of Russians hooking up traders together to make a skin trade via automated bots?"
in conclusion, dead METJM and on life-support cs.money are/were main trading features that Valve dropped the ball on, and or just didnt care to add into their own poorly done trading platform.
Skin trading in CS:GO at it's peak was a 100's of millions of dollar$ activity. think about that!
Cringe away at the lack of coding expertise/effort Steam Community Market is/still in near 2019. Think About what has become of skin trading in general on Steam. it's almost like they hate/dont want more easy money just thrown at them? who acts like that???!!! haha Valve...
and sry for typing too much about this stuff i (many others) cared about. have a nice day gamers! you too Mods
