EitherMouse vacban?
I found this piece of software called either mouse. Basically it can detect what pointing device you are using and will change mouse settings based on what you set for that mouse type. (This program is pc wide, not just for csgo).

I use EitherMouse on my laptop because I want high Dpi and low mouse send on my gaming mouse. My trackpad has no settings for DPI and so I need to have a high sens. It is annoying to have to go to windows settings every time I want to switch between the two.

I am not sure if I can get vacbanned for having this open while playing csgo. It does nothing that changes the game, so I shouldn’t get overwatched. It stays open in the background and watches to see what device I am using so it can auto switch to the correct sensitivity.

Does this sound like something that is a VACable offense?

Overwatch and VAC are two different things. If you read the VAC FAQ , it warns against using third party software as it is always use at your own risk. You could get flagged by Overwatch if it makes your playstyle look suspicious.

The software doesn’t change any aspect of gameplay, it just changes the sensitivity of my mouse if I need it changed.
Would vac think this is a cheat?

As long as it doesn't contain anything that can effect the game, as in give you better recoil, or aimbot for you. Then you should be fine, but if it has the ability to do cheats then avoid it.

Its like skinchangers that have extra cheats with them, even if you just use skinchangers, you can still get banned for it cause it has cheats with it.

Though can't really trust people to just use skinchangers lol.

If it’s not affecting the game itself it shouldn’t cause an issue.

Skinchanges are bannable even if they don't contain cheats, because they alter game files. Plus, cheating skin authors out of money.

And there is that, agreed.

For example, if the program has some monitoring script and input script, then that is an aimbot.
If a program has a mouse settings changer, then it's not a cheat.
