Settings Reset

Each time I launch csgo, every single setting from the resolution, mouse sensitivity, to the controls reset back to default. I have never had this problem til about a week ago. Someone help?

Hello! I'm Russian Hacker and safety is number one priority.
*Turns on a VPN service*

So you could try to do these options.

• Delete your autoexec (if you have one) and cfg files.
  
• Make sure you don't have any launch options that resets your game settings.
  
• Verify game files (i'm a simple steam member, i see a problem - i verify the game files)
  
• It might be a UI bug. Try to launch game in Panorama UI (you can do that by writing "-panorama" in your launch options)

If one of these solutions worked - a great feedback would be a nicest thing ever.

Hey! Thanks for trying to help out. I don't have any launch options set, at least none that I can see. I have verified the game files and it said only one was found and would be reacquired (didn't help). And I tried using "-panorama" in the launch options, and it did not help either. I cant even find my cfg folder in the first place. I also added you :)

Or just run a game file integrity check...then run CSGO as administrator.

If you have CSGO installed on "C:\Program Files (x86)", it may require you to run the game with elevated privileges.

So I can get this far.. C:\Program Files (x86)\steam\userdata\<YOURID> then the only four folders I got in there are, "7, config, ugc, ugcmsgcache" no 730 folder.

It would appear I only have one installation. but I have already tried to uninstall steam entirely. Doesnt help

Some just use C:\Steam

So yeah I reinstalled steam and put it into C:/Steam. Waiting for csgo to download
