CSGO on a Mac Book Pro

Hello guys and girls,

I recently just got a refurbished Mac Book Pro from a friend and every time I load CSGO it black screens and I can do anything but shut off my Mac Book Pro. If you have any ideas why it does this or if you know please help me.

ever heard of eGPUs? Not that it would matter to the laptop in context tho

thats why i said "stick a pcie slot to his motherboard", i would be surprised if that mac has a thunderbolt port

Try (cmd+tab) or (cmd+H) while black screen, maybe you have to wait some minutes....

It would have a display port, but obviously not the same thing.

Well, just remember you can get a refund if the total playtime is less than 2 hours, and it’s been less than 2 weeks sine you purchased it.

it depends on the frequency and type of ram, you're on the bare minimum

Try to download windows on a mac using bootcamp. It may work and its way more optimised.
