Low volume after pressing "test microphone".
Hello! I'm having an issue with my headphones being on a really low volume after i pressed "test microphone" in mic setup. I've checked volume mixer and it's all on 100% and I've troubleshooted and nothing changed... Not sure what to do to fix this, but I need it to be fixed ASAP!

Microphone gain? It's my headphones that got low?

when u are testing microphone, u should be adjusting microphone settings, speakers/headset speakers are volume for everything.

I think it lowered my volume when doing that, not sure why. I was in the middle of a comp and it ruined everything.

check ur headset settings, it might have something that lowers the volume when using mic, or the in game mic settings as well.

I've had this problem. use voice_mixer_volume in console to set mic volume. it's a long going bug so don't do it by settings

same thing just happened to me, dunno what it is but volume is now so dim that i have to use it at 70% instead of my usual 30%. all the audio just feels unnatural
