Trading banned in the netherlands. why?
when I tried to trade something I got a message that trading was dissabled in my country. but yesterday I could still trade. what has happend?

The dutch gambling authorities consider CSGO's lootbox system gambling, which I personally agree on, since it really is a game of chance.

Valve tried their best until their deadline, which was June 20th, to come to an agreement/solution, which they couldn't, so they had to implement this temporary solution.

According to what Valve stated, they're trying to resolve this asap.

Na een jaar traden heb ik me opgewerkt naar mijn huidige csgo inventory en er was al een (vrij) grote trade opkomst en nu heeft de regering alles voor mij verneukt. Kan de regering zich niet is met belangrijkere zaken bezig houden dan met een f*cking in-game skin markt!? Het mag dan wel gokken worden genoemd, maar daar valt de skin ruilhandel toch niet onder!? Valve PLZ fix......

(After a year of trading, I worked up to my current csgo inventory and there was already a (fairly) large trade attendance and now the government has spoiled everything for me. Can not the government deal with more important matters than with an f * cking in-game skin market? It may be called gambling, but that does not include the skin barter !? Valve PLZ fix ......)

You not thinking about the bigger picture. Gambling can and does screw peoples lifes up. It can lead people to commit crimes like robberly, mugging and murder

Ultimately that's a people issue though. Someone could gamble all their life but stay within reason for all that time. I do think regulation is a good thing though.

Tjs this echt bizar om dit te doen zonder enige waarschuwing van Valve. Ik heb vorig jaar een CSGO inventory gehad van rond de 3000 euro. godzijdank niet meer en heb ik nu een inv. van enkele tientjes. Mn broertje heeft een CSGO inventory van ongv. 250 euro. Hij doet beetje handelen met skins en met de kleine winstjes die die soms maakt koopt ie dan weer een spelletje bij de steamstore.... Die baalt, die heeft het niet zo breed.

Dat ze de loot boxes verbieden kan ik wel mee inkomen. Maar de Marketplace dichtgooie is natuurlijk belachelijk. Ik zou via marktplaats ook dingen kunnen kopen en met kleine winst verkopen alleen heb ik daar geen verstand van dus doen we dit maar niet. Handel in iets waar je verstand van hebt toch?
Dat heeft 0,0 met gokken te maken.

Valve het 0,0 hun best gedaan om er met de dutch kansspelen mee uit te komen. De wet op gokken was er trouwens al voor dat CSGO en de loot boxes bestonden.
