Do you lose less ELO when losing a 16-14 game than a 16-0 game?
Ever since I ranked up I only won 1 game and a tie game and then lost twice 16-14. I'm afraid i might derank after losing another game so im asking if u lose less cuz I've been reading articles and found out that elo is based on rounds u win.

You don't have Elo.

Considering it would take a remarkably bad performance to get 16-0'd, it would be safe to presume your ranking would be negatively affected.

It should be noted that your team & enemies' ranks are considered when it makes these rank changes. Getting 16-0'd against GE's that you performed well against is likely beneficial. Getting 16-0'd against Silvers that you didn't perform well against is likely very bad.

It "started with ideas based on glicko-2"...as did helicopters with airplanes; however one would be ridiculed if they called an airplane a helicopter. The devs state it's not Elo.

I got 18 kills and an mvp on my game against smfc and globals game and 27 frags for solo and 30+ frags with gn2/3 bracket and top fragged both games. Seriously, I get really bad teammates everytime i solo lol.

The last 4 times I ranked up / 2xMG2 2xMG / I always did it with draws not wins

Nobody conclusively knows. Had this knowledge been public, people would alter their playstyle to generate the most "rank points" possible. Akin to RWS hunters on ESEA.

16-14 indicates a level of performance where 16-0 does not.
