Capping your fps means your computer won't force itself to the limits, giving you resources from your cpu and / or gpu to spare for when more power is needed
144hz 144fps 7ms
U just can be faster with 144hz and have more smoothly image
You get better mouse moment with higher fps like 300 fps on a 60hz monitor would feel a lot better than 60 fps, but you would not see a difference.
And if you're on a 60hz monitor i advice you to change to 144hz, the difference is HUGE.
And also the game is smoother on a 144hz monitor even though you dont have 144 fps,
it feels smoother on a 144hz monitor with 70 fps for example.
And also do not cap your fps to your refresh rate!
please just dont do it unless you know what you're talking about.
Ok.. thanks for such great and valuable feedbacks as I learned alot.. Yes quite a big difference in price.. i was considering 240hz as u mentioned due I get more than 270fps..but if it’s not a big difference and it’s just for csgo purpose then just upgrade to 144hz should be sufficient
What the other guys said is true tho
