Friend got banned from private lobby

A friend of mine got banned from a private lobby I created, is there any way to unban players?

Your frined triggered something. I am sure the community will be able to tell us exactly what that was. My guess is that the system gave him a cooldown for griefing. Shooting your temamates in a match can and will get you banned if it is blatently on purpose.

This was during a match for a match making cue correct? If that is the case, you were on Valve's official servers...

and shouldnt reopening the server fix it? i mean i get why it wouldnt but still

welp nevermind,for some reason i had to reopen my game,then i tried joining and it worked just fine

Your friend will have to take you, or whomevere off of the off the ban list through the console and by your uniqe steam ID.

The command is

 removeid <steamid>

It should look like that...just do not use the < and > around the steam ID.

Easiest way to find the user's SteamID is go to SteamRep and copy and paste their custom Steam URL from the Steam App while on their profile page, and then use SteamRep to search for it.

Then whomever is setting up the lobby for custom gameplay, they need to turn off friendly fire kicks.

just restart steam when you get banned from your own ingame listen server.
or use the console to remove the ban.
