How does the drop system work in CSGO?

Hi all,

I've owned the game for awhile, but I'm still pretty new to it. I'd like to know how the drop system works.

Is it like TF2 where you have to play about 11 hours per week to get your max weekly drops?

1 rank up drop per week, weapon ( from crap collections) or graffiti, resets on Tuesday nights. You can get a few random case drops per week also. Cant say how many max.

During an Operation...wich we're supposed to have soon, if you buy the pass, then the weekly drop can be from ''special'' collections only obtainable during the operation

There is but you can't craft 'metals' as in tf2. You can get a group of 10 firearms from the same quality and craft them to receive 1 of the same quality. So you need to drop 10 to earn 1 when crafting.

You can make designs on skins but cant play with them...unless your skin is selected to be part of a case drop...dont count on it, it's always the same people that gets to be in it, even if the skins are reheated patterns applied on different guns.

Yeah only 1 non crate drop, and the skin is really bad.

You get a higher tier one, from the same collection of one of the itens you provided.

Certainly not so. I got two weapon drops this week (since tuesday) and one of them was an 1$ FN usp-s

you can get 3 case + 2 weapon skin per week at the max , the prime can just give u a little chance to get a better weapon skin drop , and i think maybe u get 1$ or 2$ per year XD (if u be lucky) and no it will not change alot btw ,

yes , you can get skins or cases or.... but as i said most of them=very cheap , i mean 0.1$ per skin so if you play for 1 year , you can get 5.5$ at least i think.... and if you get a bravo case = 25$ , btw bravo case is very rare , some thing like 5 time drop per day , it means you need to be a super lucky guy...xd
