Fps_max 0 300 999?

fps_max 0 300 999? Any difference in gameplay according to the values in the command? use fps_max 300 in the game would like to know if any gain change the values of 300 to one of the other values.fps_menu 120. thank you

Only thing I would recommend you, is to lower the max fps to a value which is a fair amount below what your PC can handle, to reduce fps drops / spikes. FPS drops (or spikes) are more annoying than a consistent yet probably lower framerate.

like Tweak means it's a good recommendation bc you dont want you fps to go up and down up and down that can make you lag or have a really unsmoth game play

If you have a good PC, you won't get fps drops

yes i get 300fps fix sometimes 270/300fps never drop -250fps with fps_max 300.thanks

fps_max 0 automatically sets your frame rate cap to the average sustainebale frame rate your PC can handle. fps_max 300 will cap what your screen registers as 300FPS, but going above it will be useless because the engine itself caps the variable animation frame rates for effects and physics to 300FPS.

that is not even to be close to the true fps_max 0 just make you fps unlimited have no cap or anyting even close to do what you telling

yes you can go cap 300 dosent rly mater so and why big streams like shrouds and other high tear pros they are using fps_max 0 so there fps dont have a limite bc there pc can handle the game with out ant problem
