WHY I CANT PICK UP WEAPONS ON THE GROUND USING THE E KEY

What is the bind command for swapping weapons on the ground into you're current one?

Usually the "Use" command is bound to E on a US QWERTY keyboard layout by default. You can edit the controls for the "Use" command in game. The "Use" command can be used to swap your weapons with ones you find laying around, open doors and windows (etcetera).

i think the binding keys got messed up when i joined a achievements workshop map

I've had moments where I'd press E on a gun that's on the ground when I'm basically right over top of it, but my character just would not pick it up. I think the problem you're having is just Valve being Valve. Press G to drop the current weapon that's in your hands, then walk on the weapon that you're trying to pick up. All of life's problems are now officially solved. c:

God i know this issue all too well. It's so stupid that this isn't easily solved by bind e "+use". Instead csgo is stupid and requires you to restart the damn game to work properly again.

best way to get not the problem is drop your gun to pick up the other that works always

auto change/switch/swap weapon, is turned off?
select main weapon and then use E to pickup

There are so many situations where that is an incredibly undesirable choice. You can pick up guns from father away with e. I'm not going to expose myself to their los just to grab a gun when i can just click e from safety.

i join achivment map too where it farming bomb defuses and now i cant pick up weapons using e
