About this "Bully Hunter" thing
Aren't they going to be banned for throwing matches?

From what i've seen in the "teaser" video there were like 2 guys talking♥♥♥♥♥♥to someone, but that means they were on the """victims""" team and you cannot really target someone in a comp match to join, if i wanted to play against a specific enemy in comp i just couldn't, since it's not in my control.

(Which means the only other option they have is to add the "bully" as a friend on steam and just play a match with them and then throw/grief him)

Is this just some stunt to get some views on twitch?

It is an organization devoted to fighting a major problem in gaming...sexual harassment. Honestly God knows if they are correct in those statistics they put out (it is the Internet of course), but one can see the issues they talk about first hand when a player revelese they are a girl. I have been in games where they have been hit on consistently in the most cringeworthy of ways and in some cases, I even berfriended a few because I tried defending them from such behavior.

From my understanding:
>U pay them
>They play casual with u
>U get bullied
>They start to bully the bully
>Bullying intensifies
>Congrats you just paid some random plebs to *defend* you in videogame, have fun in life, lol

So basically a boosting service

Well this is how i imagine it then:

>Pay them to play with you
>they make up some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about someone i nthe enemy team sexually harassing you
>always say "it's the worst player" (the enemy bottom frag)
>at the end of the match "haha we did it now we report to cyber police"

that's just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ childish imo

sexual harassment isn't a major problem in gaming

That is also a distinct possibility. From what I have been reading on the group however, it only targets people for abusive text and voice chat..particularly speaking, sexual harassment towards fellow players.

But that's not true to something else they said, they said they'd "outplay" them, if they're on their own team, they cannot outplay them unless with outplay they mean run in front of the shooting teammate all the time to get him banned, which is griefing.

Think racism should get some attention before bullying. I see racial slurs almost every map.

This I agree to. What they are doing about it is completely childish, however, the bigger picture reveals they are hilighting a very real major problem in gaming. Might not be applicable for a lot of people, but for those who have faced such harassment, it can be devestating.

it's not even bullying they're after, they just seem to get mad when someone says ANYTHING against a woman, even when that exact person says it against a man they don't care but once it's a female they loose their ♥♥♥♥ it seems

Racism is kind of a problem too, but as always, you can just mute.

One girl being insulted once by some random dude that she does not even know is not "devestating", some people play matches where they get death treaths multiple matches in a row by multiple people, but they don't care, and nor does anyone else because IT'S JUST A GAME

An interesting little article about the debacle: https://g33kp0rn.wordpress.com/2018/04/12/bully-hunters-this-is-not-going-to-end-well/

While their initial intentions may be good. Their behaviour and means are not.

someone that hunts """"""bullies""""" in csgo, so people who swear when a female is on their team, which is not even close to the definition of a bully
