The difference is that they call pillar "dildo" just for laughs and it doesn't affect gameplay in any way. However, calling market "kitchen" makes communication more difficult since it's not possible to call the real kitchen "kitchen" because of that.
(In NA, the elevated walkway in mid is "short", above CT is "catwalk". In EU, this is reverse)
