GTX 1060 6gb and AMD fx 6350 runing only 100fps
I have amd fx 6350 and gtx 1060 6gb, 144 hz display and i can't get over 120 fps while playing online. v sync is off, everything is on performance, my settings are all high, nothing changes if i put it to low.. I run cs on -novid -refresh 144 -w 1920 -h 1080 -window -noborder.. Does anyone know where is the problem ? task manager showing 60% usage of CPU and GPU.. temps are stable at 50C. I tried v sync on (nvidia control on fast) and triple buffering and I have about 140 fps.. but that doesn't make sense !

My fps range shuld be 200fps +... so that's not normal.. latest nvidia drivers, latest bios, my cpu is not reaching 100% so there is no bottleneck.

Tried fullscreen mode fps stays the same.. I tried playing on 720p still the same fps.

I have 2 screens and even if I unplug my 2nd screen it's the same.. to this 144hz I'm connected with DisplayPort.

Have you trie this command yet snd_debug_sleep when the fps its really low works for some this command wont make any bad things so you know

Not yet.. I will try this.

Not normal.. I run doom on 180 fps.. everything high.. and it's more demanding that cs.. also my gpu goes to 100% and cpu on 100% witcher 3 on high 140fps.

I've a 1060 aswell and have 300+ fps on average. The 1060 6gb is a very good so that's not the problem.

Also you can edit your comment and you should do this. Don't post 2 or 3 comments in a row.

@OP
You should lower the resolution and few graphic settings. CSGO needs as much fps as possible and having a FullHD or eben UHD resolution is contra productive. And your problem is the cpu. It's a very old and slow cpu. Get something better like a i5 8600k.

i get 250-300 on my gtx950 so 1060 should give better fps.

try to play 4:3 1280*960, if this didnt help try to turn multicore rendering on/off, on my old pc putting multicore rendering off doubled my fps but on my new pc turning it off dropped my fps from 250-300 to 100-150

Yeah his problem is the cpu. The game is not only cpu hungry, his cpu is also really old and cheap.

csgo is a pretty cpu favoured game like i have a pretty old gpu (r9 270x) but i have a ryzen 5 3600 in my pc and i get 200ish frames on high settings and would probably get more with a better gpu. if you want more fps i'd recommend a new cpu
