mm_dedicated_search_maxping does not work....Valve fix please!

This command does absolutely nothing......can anyone tell me if there is another way to force MM search to exclude countries outside of a certaixn ping area. I keep getting put with Russians 9 out of 10 times, and I'm in the UK. Nothing against Russians at all but the ping is way too high for a decent game.

Even FaceIT is the same. Makes the game boring as hell. Getting shot when you're right around the corner on 64 tick by some tosser with 100+ ping.

Fix it please. I'm sure I'm not the only one. Funny thing is France is the closest to the UK, but pretty sure I've only ever played with 1 French person before......explain that one!

If there was a better FPS game from a gunplay mechanics standpoint, I'd have moved on by now.....but luckily for you, most of the other devs are concentrating too much on marketing and building a brand new, overdone genre, BR game and not on gameplay itself. What a ♥♥♥♥ time to be a gamer!

u can choose ur server, same goes to them. they connected to ur server, that's the problem.
solution?4-5 man team.

mm_dedicated_search_maxping does actually work, it's a client CVAR.

Now, if the servers actually attempted to match people via their mm_dedicated_search_maxping setting, that would be neato.

You can pick your maxping but you can’t pick other players maxping. If your ping is going above your maxping that would be due to connection latency such as wifi

Might try to edit that config, because I just played a game with a 140 ping dude who just teleported around.....was kinda funny when he appeared infront of your face like Slenderman though! ;)

You CANT change other people’s max ping...

Are you getting high ping? You could be connected to a UK server and the Russians connected to that UK server. Also the reason behind the large number of Russians compared to French players is that there are many more Russian players paying CS than French ones
