Weird issue with laptop charging and CS:GO

So, I've been getting this really weird problem with CS:GO for a while, and I can't find anything on it yey so I'd figure I would post it here. Whenever I get into a match (this never happens if I'm on the home screen or any other menu), Within 60 seconds of joining my laptop will stop charging itself, even with the charger plugged in. Then, randomly, it will start charging again. Rinse and repeat until eventually it just stops charging until I unplug and replug the charger, and the process repeats. I should also mention I don't recieve this problem with Gmod or TF2, so it must be something with CS:GO. Anyone got this issue before and more importantly, does anyone know how to fix it? I really want to put a lot of time into this game but its really annoying when stuff like this happens.

hmm I would check that you have the latest updates from the manufacturer with firmware/bios stuff especially. sometimes it's best to go to there support section and manually check that you have it. Also make sure you do it carefully when fully charged and read the notes etc. cause the bios aint no joke.

How old is your charger? Your charger may be low wattage, or so old it cannot power the laptop reliably under load.

The charger is just about 1 year old.

perhabs there is a problem with your cable ... look on it and find if there are any weird things shown on the wire.
( its a year old so it has to have some )
