For one, experienced players can easily transfer over to this game without ANY issue,it's not a matter of whether it's good or not but a matter of LEGAL issues, counter blox USES A LOT of VALVE ASSETS such as the default music, default knives including the default skinned knives, gun sounds, and the mechanics of the game in general,if anything the game should've been dead from the start.
The difference is that they don't use official assets from nintendo, otherwise why do you think hacked emulators are illegal? Pokemon games in emulators are hacked and use official assets so this is why nintendo are so strict and serious about it. ( The name pokemon is trademarked and is considered an "asset".)
Same thing goes for "Counter Blox". Had you played it,you would see that not only is it easy to get used to,it also sounds basically the same as they use THE EXACT SAME SOUND ASSETS from all over CS:GO.
Please do read what I've typed properly, and play the game while you're at it,counter blox is not simply imitating at this point, rather it has definitely ripped out certain parts of csgo which are officially registered under valve as an asset, like the default CT and T knife models, case knife models, sound effects for guns, walking, running and grenades etc.
Fair point. I have not played Counter-blox in a while. But I do not see how they could directly rip any assets other than sound as they are both in two different programming languages. But as for your question why it hasn't been brought down yet is because in personal opinion is that Valve doesn't really care whether or not they used their actual sounds.
