Performance for PC, 16:10
If it's not the same, your graphics card has to re-scale the images. It results in lower fps.
Most monitors ( year 2012 - 2018 ) are 16:9 (1920×1080)
Old monitors are 4:3 (1024×768)
Business monitors are 16:10 (1920×1200) e.g. ASUS PA248Q 24" ProArt Professional.
Looks a bit square to me.
Using a gaming monitor , has wide view? Go pick 16:9
no it doesnt work like that.....how dumb r u??
lower res = less gpu usage = higher fps
lower res = more cpu usage (cpu bottleneck)
higher res = more gpu usage (gpu bottleneck)
higher res = less cpu usage
etc
GRRR!! >_<
16:9 aspect ratio resolutions:
1024×576, 1152×648, 1280×720, 1366×768, 1600×900, 1920×1080, 2560×1440 and 3840×2160
16:10 aspect ratio resolutions:
1280×800, 1440×900, 1680×1050, 1920×1200 and 2560×1600
FIRST YOU PICK da correct ASPECT RATIO which is the SAME as your MONITOR before YOU Pick DA Resolution
YOU DONT JUST PICK DA LOWEST RESOLTUION.
If You PICK da 1024 x 578 LOWEST resolution and YOUR monitor is 16:10 you WILL get poor performance because Your monitor NEEDS to rescale all the IMAGES to fit into that 1280×800. It just STRESS the hardware and WOOLAH in 2 years it broke down. You hardware Murderer!
NOT only THAT you will get UGLY graphics because it's a forced rescale and it looks STUPID. Stretched and ugly and you can never headshot easily. Sure, it can still INCREASE FPS a bit because it still draws fewer pixels in lower resolution but IT'S the WRONG thing to DO. If ya Pick DA 1280 x 720 OVER 1280 x 800 Your monitor SUFFERS in the entire game and you suffered with STRETCHED frames with poor aim and not much FPS is gained.
Grrr.
lmfao TL;DR not reading an essay
u r more gpu limited than cpu, and in almost every game and scenaro the cpu is never the bottleneck, and only a dumb ass will go to 144p.
i asummed u had at least a couple of braincells but turns out u dont and that u, urself read that as, i should go to 144p, or even 1x1 pixel res lmfao.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AUyF--fJaaM&t=0s
since u have time to write an essay u can watch this vid, there u can see that 720p resuilts have a higher fps compared to 1080p/1440p this is due to gpu bottleneck, if he wants more fps lower the res. In those benchmarks u know its a cpu bottleneck when 3 cpus have the same fps and 0.1% lows.
ps: ur logic makes no sense when facts r facts.
ps: FML WROTE AN ESSAY
last PS: Stick with native res if ur got decent hardware
Edit: y u delete ur complaint about moderators and the community huh? people like u really like to argue against facts
Edit #2: csgo isnt a great looking game in the first place this isnt tomb raider/gta/wildlands/ witcher 3
Dont post ♥♥♥♥ u dont know. Moderators can see what u edited out
I finally get what you're trying to proof. You are comparing 720p to 1080p!? What the hell? It's all common sense that 720p has higher fps?
What I'm fighting here, is to get that right aspect ratio first. You can go for either 1280x720 or 1280x800p, or 1900x1080 vs 1900x1020. The right aspect will perform better without the need to adjust or stretch.
When OP posted that question, 16:9 or 16:10, I assumed he wants to maximize performance. You're there screaming it doesn't matter as long as it's lower resolution, therefore I fought you.
There is a lot of videos showing how to not force reescalating the image in your gpu.
Who cares how its typed, its stupid when people give false information, besides this isnt reddit it would get a lot worse there.
And im also not sure y he had to give false information. when the OP was awnsered in the first line. but noooo he has to mention bs.
so imo i have the right to insult him
btw he was being like oh how do moderators deal with people like this with this stupidity bla bla bla, been in this community for 3 days or somethin bla bla bla.
