Hey

I keep getting this message everytime i start matchmaking, and it takes 5-10 minutes to find a game every single time. Problem is i'm not actually lagging (Teamspeak ping is 50ms) and ping is totally fine in game once i find one.
I tried repairing csgo files/reinstalling the game, checked every single link on google about that, but apparently i'm the only one getting this issue.

Please help :c

Set your max matchmaking ping higher

Yes it is actually wrong when it shows a wrong ping and delays matchmaking. Clearly a pain in the ass otherwise i wouldn't create a new discussion about it.

Also, it has nothing to do with max matchmaking ping..

CS measures your ping when you start searching. If it's higher than the maximum value that you have set in the game settings, it simply won't find you a match for a period of time (after 5-10 minutes the system ignores your maxping setting).

The bad thing about that, it measures the ping only at that EXACT moment when you start the search. This happens to me often aswell (i listen to online music, which causes random lag spikes).

TL;DR
Set your maxping to a higher value or spam the start button until the message's gone.

If you have VPN you can try to switch it off. Verify the game cache if you didnt already. Maybe your antivirus could block csgo / connection try adding exeption for steam and cs. Maybe its blocking ports ? Dont know how to help more sorry. Never had this issue. I didnt find anything on forums too. Good luck 👋
