No footstep sound
I already posted about this, but I got no answer. So might as well try again, right?

So the problem is I cant hear footsteps AT ALL.I am playing with speakers, can hear everything else just fine, but footsteps just make no sound for me.Any ideas how to solve this problem,or LEGALLY increase the sound of footsteps or....ANYTHING?

Lol I think I explained it wrong :D thing is,steps BARELY make a sound. They are there and SOMETIMES I can hear them, mostly jumping. What I am trying to say is,the steps are not as loud as other sounds.Sorry, cant really explain it lol

Also, adjusting the frequencies for CS:GO does help. Certain in-game sounds are bound to specific frequency ranges.

Funny,I have a headset, though I dont use it much.If I wanted to use the headset just to play Counter Strike,I would have to get under the table, unplug speakers plug in headset.I mean its not much of a deal,I was just hoping I could play with speakers lol

And I tried the 3D sounds, didnt really help.

It got me thinking though, could it be that steps are too low of a sound for my speakers to pick up?

If you have a specific soundcard (like I do; I own a Soundblaster X-Fi), google for CS:GO sound guides for it.

You NEED to play cs with a headset, accurate sound is vital

Well, thanks for all the help guys,if I wont find a solution I guess I will have to connect the darn headset every time :D

Just leave the headset in

I prefer using speakers on pretty much everything else than using headset - listening to music, playing other games, watching movies, and such. Also speakers are a good protection against earrape lol
Basically my pc has only one port,so I have to choose, headset or speakers :))
