It's literally so easy to not get killed by it. It takes like a full second to not spray all over the place, and by then you should already be prepared/nading them/running.

It's not the fact that it's easy to kill the guy with it, but rather the fact that the fun takes no skill, and doesnt deserve to be in this game.

It takes skill to find a good position where you won't be countered immediately.

Negev is probably the easiest gun to counter. At least IMO.

CSGO is skill based. Even if the positioning is important, denying entire doorways by sitting down and aiming at one place is wrong for CSGO.

I agree that the negev should be removed but for entirely different reasons. most people who buy negev are just clowing around and the negev is a favorite of people who are deliberately deranking.

on top of the negev i'd remove:
bizon
m249
sawed off
dualies
r8

at least from competitive mode. none of those weapons are viable in any possible sense of the word

The sawed off is very viable, it just has bad range because of it's insane damage.

As Hammy P mentioned, can say the same about bizon. Unlike rifles it has more forgiving spray, cheaper than P90 too. Sure it can't outgun P90, but it has upper hand on it long range. And just as effective against groups of people in narrow corridors.

Just because you think some weapons are not viable for YOU, doesn't mean they shouldn't be in the game or not useful. Use what you want. If someone is good, they can out-gun others with those weapons listed. A bad player will be bad with any weapon. As they say, a gun is only as good as the one who is wielding it.

For this entire thread, I believe the negev is for clowns/ griefers, and should be removed. The other guns stated by Grandpa Thad do have some part in CSGO to fill. The M249 needs to be buffed though. It's worse than an AK, yet about twice as expensive. The dualies are great for first round rushing and are severly misjudged. They are viable, and only $400. The bizon and p90 should be worked out to be more different though. Rather than remove a weapon with skins, just fix it, to make it different, and useful. The sawed off is a great eco choice for high damage in close combat. The R8 is somewhat useless, but I like the idea of slow trigger-pull as a trade off for something (as long as it's not damage).

Actually they are sorta different, can try it out bit more. Basically, P90 will shred bizon in mid-range and close range. It has higher damage with it's bullets too.

However Bizon has advantage more long range, bursting few shots with it are much more accurate than P90 will ever be cause it's a complete spray weapon.

That being said, bizon is cheaper for a reason, as it's weaker mid range to p90 and long range to rifles. It's just good weapon for tight corners/tunnels and against (behind) groups of people in them with it's 64 bullets (sometimes, just not enough money to get P90 after all)

Could say it's like a pistol to a deagle in power, bit more accurate and forgiving but not that effective for what both are meant for. Good weapon if ahead in first couple rounds tho or when solo guarding a tight spot on your own with low budget.
