Report a translation problem
try playing with it turned on sometimes - it makes it much easier to track who is doing what, notice who died, compare with the radar quickly, etc
(or to remember how each player behaves - you start to remember that enemy blue is the guy who goes connector every round so when you see him die, maybe you can take a risk in connector)
it's actually way more useful than knowing that some kid is named "vegeta based rizz" or whatever (plus you can turn it on and off whenever you want from a button on the top right of the scoreboard)
if you're seeing it happen when you didn't change the setting, it's because sometimes part of the game's networking "misses a beat" and doesn't know the actual names/avatars/etc for a moment .. just wait and it'll fix itself
Edit: I see this setting but it never applies to my games, is this from today or something?
i just leave it on all the time - in comp/premier it uses the 5 colours for the names, in casual it uses other names (like animals etc)
