A group of trolls kicked me when winning does it count as win?
It was 15-6 then they kicked me, it counted in my recent matches, 16-6. Does it count as win? Gosh I love Aussies.

You could have gain a good hidden score from the game. You'd probably be promoted in the next game. :erune:

quite honestly, what does it matter ?

As Irene said, you have played your rounds. and you will be playing a lot more in the time to come. One game will not weight

Besides, the amount of comp wins is just there for decoration, it has no real meaning and nobody should care about it.

Yes games you get kicked from do count regardless if your team wins or lose afterwards.
People reported rank downs as well as rank ups because of it.

tbh i get this a lot. even when your the carry.
kids these days treat csgo comp like its a chatroom. they there to talk ♥♥♥♥. if u do anything to offend the ♥♥♥♥ talkers they will turn on you and say good bye.

tbh, i wait until the game i was kicked from is finished so i can queue again in hopes of going against them so i can rek them

Generally the way it works is you get credit for the rounds that you played. Regarding ranking up or down, though, this will only come into effect after finishing your next game. You will not magically rank up or down once the match you get kicked from finishes, but it will happen after finishing your next match.

yeah. its the same with rounds lost.
so being 15 / 3 and starting to ♥♥♥♥ around. your giving away elo and the other team is gaining some.

Yes that's how a Glicko-2 Rating System works. Your MMR will go up/down after each round you play. It's a round-by-round rating system, and doesn't only focus on the outcome of the entire match, like ELO does.

yep. personal performance = 0 . also we should discuss trust factor. cause there is much debate about how u go up and down, but really there are only 3 ways? (even though technically 2 are the same) so. 2 things?

You are right it is an elo system with some more features yet the main foccus is still on the outcome of the game and the prediction of the system. (TEAM A > TEAM B) win = team a gets this much elo - lose = team B gets this much elo then they take away the rounds the enemy won before losing / draw and take it away from your winning award elo (to make it simple)
Thats why you sometimes gain elo when playing a draw and sometimes lose elo when playing a draw. It also plays around the team doesn't matter if you have 0 kills or 50 to encourage teamplay.

but elaborating more. if u were going to win. u wont gain as much elo as if u were statistically going to lose and won..

Play with at least one friend so you can't get kicked. Never soloq.
Also rank doesn't matter so it's not important at all how the game was calculated for you. It's also only guessing.

It's not 'giving it another name'. Glicko-2 and ELO are 2 different rating systems, they work differently and affect ratings differently.
