Freezing after kill an enemy
Hello. I didn't play CS GO about one year. Few days ago I tried to play again. And I saw sad thing. I have freez every time when i kill an enemy. About half of second or less.
My PC's specs: i7 7700k, gtx 1070, 16 gb ram. Game is installed to ssd.
I tried to close and delete every excess programms, delete steam and nvidia overlays, change settings, reinstall game, upgrade drivers and intall old nvidia drivers. But freezes didn't gone.
Steam support didn't help me and asked me to write here.
So maybe someone had same problem and know how to resolve it?

When you reinstalled windows did you make sure all the software was upto date?

I'v resolved it. I realised that lags were because of my config.
After reinstall Windows and game I saw that game still use my config.
I've tried to delete cfg folder from "Steam\steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\csgo" but it didn't help and game still used my config because CS:GO downloaded my config from Steam Cloud, so I just deleted userconfig folder from Steam and turn off sync with Steam Cloud in CSGO settings.
Freezes disappeared and I'm happy but actually I have no idea how and why it influences to game.
So if someone have the same probler just try to delete that folder if any another methods didn't help you.

Maybe the config that was stored on the cloud was made ages ago vs the one you were using before reinstalling windows?

I think config from cloud and config which I used before reinstall Windows are the same. Anyway lags were when I used both configs and freezes disappeared only after delete all old configs.

You said removing the configs fixed it though seems odd that it's come back.

Yeah, when I launched game after removing configs there were no freezes but when I launch game next time it came back. I tried delete it again but game still freezes after every kill.

Well how else would Valve nerf you?

I've checked few more times. If I delete userconfig folder freezes disappear when I connect to server for first time. But if I reconnect to server or relaunch game freezes come back.

Your config is broken look into how to reset it to default or something.

Ok, I think I resolved this issue finally. When I used guns with stattrak, I had freeze after kill. If I disable stattrak freezes are gone. I think gun's statistic updates right after killing. I have about 6k items in CSGO inventory so that's why I had lags because CSGO searched needed item in inventory and spent some time for it, i guess.

I got the same issue, not sure where to start with this, althought its not just on csgo that it does this.
