That's a funny looking growth for the last 3 months https://steamcharts.com/app/730#All and of course this doesn't take in to account the bots, returning banned players and smurfs.
I'm not sure if you don't understand graphs, but let's zoom in and hover over it from your own link.

August: 647,461
September: 720,052
October: 747,937
(obviously we can't take november because we are in the middle of it)

When a graph line goes up, that means there is growth. When it goes down, the opposite.

Can you explain what makse you think a line AND numbers going up makes you think it's a 'funny looking growth'? All this on your own link of course!

any game that goes F2P gets a big boost in numbers, dont know what they proves other than its popular. Personally I dont play CSGO anymore because I'd rather source since it feels more like Counter Strikr rather than Fortnite/Apex Legends
Y'all should get over yourselves
The professional scene is prospering world wide.
The player base is huge, you will never have issues finding a lobby.
You will, of course, experience hackers - a testament to the game's popularity.
The game is backed by cutting edge anti-cheat software, and a very responsive player-base.
Your discussion is new, yet it has 4 pages of responses.

And my shot in the dark guess is that most people on this thread, who claim they're leaving for good, is that they'll be back after a short while.

We heard it when new knife skins arrived, when gloves arrived - and now when player model skins arrived : ThE gAmE dOeSnT fEeL tHe SaMe AnYmOrE, yet, it's still the same game.
Not to mention the "new" gun sounds back in, what, '16?
