Does Processor affect my fps on csgo?

Currently, i have
Spec :
Windows 10
CPU = Intel Core i3-5005U CPU (2.00 GHz)
Graphics Card = Nvidia Geforce 930m
Memory = 4 GB (RAM)

and im gonna upgrade my laptop. Should i upgrade the processor or something else?

Yes. A good CPU is more important than a GPU in this game.(And more RAM would be usefull)

At least i5 for happy'ness, more is better. 8gb ram at least nowadays.

let me ask you this

why do you play on a laptop ? get a desktop they are cheaper in the long run compared to upgrading your laptop every 6 months or so due to slowing down and overheating issues

Wish i said i wanted a desktop instead of laptop last year (2 late 4 me) and im gonna go college in 2 years.

Laptops are never good for gaming. But since you can't change it anymore you've to live with it. CSGO is - as Bergman correctly said - a more CPU focused game so upgrading your cpu does make sense. You should also upgrade your ram from 4gb to 8gb, it won't be expensive but very helpfull.

Keep in mind that you get a cpu for this socket: FCBGA1168
Otherwise you've to upgrade your mainboard aswell. Also buy an i5 processor since i3's are pretty bad.

You didn't answer the question so I ask again: You do know how to replace a cpu in a laptop or do you let the company where you bought the laptop replace it?
