why do people buy the csgo knives?

is it as an investment or something? i mean dont get me wrong most of the knives looking ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ nice but you can buy (for example) a real rainbow fade karambit for like $20 while the CSGO one is several hundred dollars
now i aint judging im a loot ♥♥♥♥♥ so i cant really judge but im just curious if its as an investment, because it looks nice, bragging rights, or if theres some kind of secret stat

i think half of the time they use it for trades or just to flex on people who have no knife skins

They buy them because they want a knife? Many people have different things they buy a knife for. I'm soon buying a StatTrak Karambit Doppler Phase 4 Factory New just to have a knife in game.

1.Some people want them cause theyve played the game for awhile or
They have the money
2.Some buy knives to profit off of them from people paying more on trade sites then what you're paying for on the market
3.Alot knives are nice eve the ones with meh skins look good to
4.Cool you have a real knife karambit with a poorly added fade to the karambit that your gonna look at mess with time to time and later lose it or throw it away

People buy it because they earn enough money to throw away for such stuff, if they wouldn't earn that much money then they wouldn't be buying CS:GO skins, simple as that.

Didnt say you own one but the example of paying 20$ for a real one isnt cool since elementalknives and other knife companies make them out of cheap steel and poor paint jobs and some dont even function like the real life counterparts

i buy/trade csgo skins/knives because i like the look/artwork, the skill it takes. i care ZERO what others think. Absolute Zero. 0.

I buy gold and silver too because i like how it looks, the real shinny stuff. yes! more! when i buy a car i like new cool shinny fast comfortable ones. but i can also appreciate people who buy a mini-van too, or wrench on a older one. it works for them. buy it if you can, if you do/dont it wont matter in 100 years anyhow. you should give too, if you buy a lot, give a lot i say. give to Salvation Army, give to a church. give to people who help others. give to Wounded Warrior.

i like shinny things. if i can afford them, i'll buy them. endlessly. and who cares, it's my life, my choices. but dont ever buy anything thinking youll be "happier with it". that's a auto-fail and you prob should seek pro help if thats the case.

if one cares about what others buy, they have some sort of personal hangup/issue. its best to fully avoid people that "care" what you buy with your own money. they are not being honest and are a bad influence overall to you. brush them aside and buy what you like. twice. lol

for the summer buy cool.

for the winter buy warm.

inbetween try and and buy/wear stuff that doesnt make you look like a total dork. and importantly, the "most expensive" is never a good buy idea in clothes/shoes. total waste. dont be that idiot with a gucci hat on.

thats life lesson stuff there, write it all down. then ignore it all and do what YOU feel like. heh
