Csgo key market manipulation!
Valve needs to do something about this. The abuse is getting out of hand.

These steam users are switching their currency with vpn everytime valve updates the csgo key ingame price. They are currently selling with british pounds (2.16 pounds) per key which is the exact ingame price of 1.89 pounds plus the steam tax. They are generating csgo card drops this way. (1 csgo card drop aprox 9 usd)

The crazy part is that it would take years to get all those csgo card drops. Some say these ppl have a way of getting the cards faster. It's all very fishy if u ask me.

How is this even beneficial to anyone? I've been getting CS:GO cards for years and occasionally dumped them to a friend who's willing to take them. I've spent close to $2000 in-game, and beyond leveling the badge to level 5 these cards have been completely useless and not even worth the time it takes to sell them.

Of course this doesn't change the fact that no one should be using VPNs to get a better price, nor automate use of the market, but whoever does this is outright pathetic.

Inagine doing all of this work, just for a level 5 badge.

thats weird you need a payment method from the country you want to use before you can switch currency.

it will not be as simple as stated in this topic.

Makes sense that it would be like that. I'm restricted to selling 200 items per year on the community market because I had an American address on my PayPal in 2013, so it wouldn't be the only case of restrictions being imposed based on the country a payment method is tied to.

you can correct that but need to jump trough a lot of hoops and give up your privacy to do so.

I know, which is why I've decided to just stay below 200.
