Max fps for 2080 ti

Hello guys i am using i5 9600k and 2080ti and i am getting average fps of 250 everything maxed up is that normal?

Tbh, I'm running an i9 9900k + 2 RTX 2080 Ti's the PC is completely water cooled and I only get roughly 250 to 300 FPS - nothing more nothing less. I don't know if the game caps out my fps.

On which game do you get 250 to 300 fps? could you be more specific?

I mean i don't want to overclock it rn because it is a brand new cpu..

He's not going to get an AMD better than the 9600k.

Even the 9700K or 9900K will be marginal gains.

Yes i actually did realise that 250 would be enough but i just wanted to know what you guys would think about my average fps.

What's your Monitor Hz by the way, I hope it's 144 at least ,if not I recommend it.

probably latest games 1-3 years old, depends on Singleplayer/Multiplayer and genre. For start PUBG if you enjoy it.

Depends what kind of games you like, you probably got some free game with the GPU that has raytracing in it.

Since you mentioned forza 3, im just going to point out that you can play horizon 4 with the PC xbox game pass. It's 1$ first month then 5$ after that and it comes with a decent amount of other games as well

If you have 144Hz and you are getting an average of 250 fps on MAX (should be 300+ if you drop some settings like anti-aliasing) then you really have nothing to worry about, the game will be smooth for your monitor and you won't have any problems. Don't bother buying a new CPU just for CSGO. Most new games are way more GPU dependent than CPU, so like the others said... you have that 2080Ti you should be playing a lot of newer games and enjoy their graphics.

You aren't getting it. It's MEANT to be overclocked, you just need to set correct voltage and speed.

I just tested Forza Horizon 3 and gpu usage is above 90% all the time, everything is on ultra i am getting 130 to 160 fps.

Why would you need more than 250?

youd be hard pressed to find a monitor that exceeds 240hz. Unless your worried about the 1% lows, your doing just fine
