i7 7740X Issues
My friend just got a PC with an i7 7740X. He has issues with Panorama UI as shown by this YouTube Video:

Is there a solution?

I agree with this.

That would literally be the first thing he would try >.>

Check for BIOS updates and other manufacturers updates (drivers). Ensure RAM is properly inserted for dual channel support. Check CPU/GPU temperatures. Make sure the GPU is in the correct slot. Make sure he has his monitor connected to the GPU and not the motherboard.

Yep, everything has been tried. CSGO is the only thing that suffers with issues like these.

You might have him download and run the tool from https://www.userbenchmark.com/ and then provide a link to his results (that site provides it).

The last time I ran it, I got https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/12545863

and what would a UserBenchmark provide?

It tells me if the pc is performing as expected.

BTW, is he using custom settings for CSGO? If so, try removing everything.

His PC is performing as expected, this isn't a PC issue, it seems to be an issue with this specific CPU and CSGO.

He tried that already.
you name the cpu but not the other components lol people like you....

you name the cpu but not the other components lol people like you....

Because this is literally an issue with just the CPU...

Then the CPU must be bad, get it replaced if you're convinced it's that.

I suggest upgrading to a higher one if possible. I uselly go all out on the last gen of each series.

CS:GO is 32-bit, so that could be the problem. I suggest your friend try launching the game in Windows 7 compatibility mode and also deactivate Desktop Composition in the Properties.

Edit: Also, verifying the game files won't hurt. And making sure that all DirectX 9.0c files are properly installed.

Can you read? I have literally stated that this is the only game that suffers issues.

Know how autoexec stuff works?
Try this in autoexec.cfg:
net_graph "1" //Shows ping,fps,packet loss/choke ect. net_graphproportionalfont "0" //Makes net_graph font smaller net_maxroutable "1000" //default is 1200. //Requested max packet size before packets are 'split'. snd_mixahead "0.055" //def. "0.025" //Sound stuff, the higher the value the lesser stress on cpu. rate "9999999" //Max bytes/sec the host can receive data host_writeconfig //additional stuff I find helpful bind F11 "toggleconsole" bind F10 "exec autoexec" play "buttons/button17"

Or alternatively type it into the console, except the // lines, these are only comments.

Ah yes because the internet & audio settings totally affect this >.>

Hello guyz, i have the same issue but i use a motherboard : GIGABYTHE X299 UD4 - with no " Extreme Tweaker and find there "CPU Ratio" line :/
There only a frequency ajustement at 4.0 or 4.1 Ghz for example but still this info on system after reboot : i7-7740X 4.10Ghz @ 4.30Ghz. Something block my GPU freq at 4.30 default frequency. Someone have a solution on Gigabytes BIOS ? Because when i switch Frequency at 4.10 or 4.0, the problem on CS go still there :/
