Steam’s summer sale effect
Will the summer sale affect market prices? And if it does, will it be a good time to invest or buy skins?

The Steam Store has sales, The Community Market does not.

the steam store dropping prices on games makes people want to sell their skins on the market to get funds to buy said games, resulting in widespread skin value decreasing

it will effect "liquid skins" (asiimov/redline/atheris etc (most frequently sold skins))

prices tend to drop 10-15% then after sale is over it takes 1-2 months for prices to stabalise

Prices will drop around 20% for a very short time on skins below 20€
