The GPU and CPU are utter trash and were never designed for gaming, Hell. I don't think that even browsing the internet on this thing is a decent experience.
Lenovo isn't really bad, They do produce some gaming laptops and do work well. My friend just bought a laptop from them with an i7 8750H and GTX 1060 6GB and it works well for him
Laptops that are mostly made to the low end are simply worthless trash and a waste of money and this can be said to any brand.
Better on to spend more money at first to get a decent machine that would stand the test of time.
Lenovo is the best for cheap laptops, but you got a glorified netbook with that puny celeron.
My Lenovo has last years' Ryzen 3 with Vega graphics and was only $300. Runs CSGO around 80fps only occasionally dropping to 45...
If I'm not wrong, His Celeron isn't really a real Celeron.
It's literally rebranded Atom CPU that even can't deal with Windows properly.
And btw, What is the model of your laptop? As my friend is looking for a cheap laptop to play LoL on it.
Mine is the IdeaPad 330 Ryzen 3 Vega version. Gotta make sure and read the specsl cuz the 330 has a crappy Intel version too.
But thats old, you can probably find a old Ryzen 5 for about the same price these days.
ram: 2gb
gpu: nvidia (idk what version it is, but its old af)
cpu: intel pentium
storage: 10gb
setting: very-low setting until i need to make resolution tiny under 640x360
100% his laptop doesn't have a Thunderbolt 3 support, Let alone a USB-C port.
And even if it had then his CPU is completely terrible as it's based on the architecture of the Intel Atom CPUs which were used on mobile devices i.e very low single core performance which means that external GPU won't be able to help as the CPU is bottlenecked to it's maximum.
