jokes aside it's okay to be not great at the game. i've been playing this game a lot recently and i still suck at this game. practice will improve, there's people who improve faster and there's people who's slow at improving. doesn't mean you're bad. just difference on time.

Basically you need to do more practice, you can train your aim skill on Practice map that can be implemented later on a real matchmaking
Oh yeah, you also need some common sense a.k.a luck
My point is - hitting ♥♥♥♥ is a matter of your skill with the current mechanics. At my prime I was pulling 160-180h real playtime in CSGO according to steam, without much breaks for close to half a year, and my aim was so good that I was able to get to GE and Lvl 7 Faceit with my dumb disregard of any tactics and just rushing/peeking all the time.
You should get real - want GE? Its easy, do proper training and just casually play every day. Want Lvl 10 Faceit? It starts where GE in MM leaves - will take you even more time and commitment. Want to have pro player aim? Easy - just go a year playing CSGO full time and see what happens...
exactly - you do not need to put the crosshair on his head or stop moving, you just simply have the muscle memory to make the shot. In the reaction time needed to pull off crazy headshots consistently there is only a "feel" for how it happens.
edit: quote gone wrong.
