Unable to run cs:go

A few days ago, I entered a CS:GO competitive. In the 1st round, I am unable to play as the video settings were glitchy and I couldn't move. Then, I just decided to take the cooldown and shut down my computer and went to sleep. The next day, I booted up my computer and it showed CS:GO - running. I was confused. Nonetheless, I still clicked on PLAY, but it showed the cs:go already running error. csgo.exe is in the details in my task manager (ran as administrator) (

I even tried to force shut down cs:go in command prompt (ran as administrator) but it doesn't work, and it shows no instance of the app was found (https://gyazo.com/26a43702f92b765b999b16c9bb09a34b)

When shutdowning, did you try to TASKKILL csgo? Because if you did, i can see the problem

hmm what do you mean? when I first shut down, I didn't do anything. today, when I booted up my computer, I decided to check out some youtube videos out and tried to taskkill csgo. as of today, i have not shut down my computer

and btw the /F command for CMD is /F /im csgo.exe

and... IF you succesfully terminated the process CSGO.EXE, the command will do it. BUT you need to go to CMD and type in CSGO or CSGO.EXE, i don't know which one. Tell me if this fixes the problem... Other reason might be that you have made some damaging changes to CSGO files.

go to your disk where you installed windows into... Try to find SYSTEM32. Try to delete all thos files cuz they are JUNK. 🤣

And how about you really shut down your computer, and not just go to hibernate mode?
