Yes, when my GPU broke I was playing 800x600 70fps 60hz and still playing decent on supreme and faceit level 7

Just play console games if your that keen on such a low fps.

*After playing with 180hz for the last 2 years I can never ever go back to playing anything lower there are cases where the game is locked at 60 fps (platformers where the game speed is tied into the frame rate)

Theoritically possible. The difference between 60 Hz and 144 Hz is just a few miliseconds.

I can do just fine with 60hz. The only reason i don't have a 144hz monitor is because of my rig. I play 4k and built the PC to do just that. Getting a monitor that can display 144hz 4k will cost a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, and with the upgrade i need to make to my PC, it would cost roughly 2000€.

So i basically traded FPS for Resolution

Let me give you a piece of advice. I was thinking like, i'm not good enough cuz of my 75 hz monitor. So now i have a 144hz one, and i'm not that much better. I mean it does make the game a bit easier, and better for flicking and stuff, but it won't result in a crazy improvement. If you suck you suck, better monitor won't help that much. I've been LEM before i bought it, and i'm still LEM.

What it does help a lot with is your eyes. I can't go back to 75 hz now, cuz my eyes hurt a lot when i try it.

1 second (1000ms) div 64 tick = 15ms refresh

Under the 64 tick server, for each second you'd receive 1000ms / 15ms = 66 updates.

Therefore, it works perfectly well with your 60hz monitor.

If your PC can generate 30fps, you will miss out half of the action, and therefore it'd be difficult. Buy a graphics card to ensure the action stays above 66 fps. : P

144hz is just a luxury eye candy. You don't get any boost. The same server, the same information, the same reaction.

If one can game better because his eye is more comfortable in 144hz, then global elite require gaming chair and gaming boots to make us more comfortable.

60 fps is not so bad. there are many players with 30 fps and they have supreme / global elite ranks. It all depends on your skills and your team
