paste that into your console. the 1.8 is my normal sensitivity, you can get yours by simply typing "sensitivity" into the console.

I don't think csgo's console command is advanced enough for that. You could try using your mouse's program or autohotkey or something.

you could do it more on the bases of bind c to 1 sens and v to 2 sense

Please, for gods sake. Don't do silly stuff like this. Completely waste of time and will decrease your skill so much.

Agreed. Just use 1 sensitivity. everything is just a marketing gimmick, "Having more sens is more flexible and makes you a better player!"

i have 2 sense just bound to a key each. Bind "0" "sensitivity 2.55" (which is my normal sens) and bind "9" "sensitivity 999" which is for trolling.
A better question is, Why does this game's engine allow a player to set such high "inhuman" level sensitivities in the first place? Why does certain mouse software allow it? Are there people playing on 100 meter wide screens?

Different preferences, some people play with low and some play with high sensitivity. as for the super high uncontrollable sensitivity, i'd say it's just marketing gimmick. Dumb people would probably think high dpi = better tracking or some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Literally no one uses a dpi over like 3000
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

The only reason to have a high eDPI is so you can spin around when you defuse/plant the bomb, that's it. They could still change the max ingame sensitivity. I think currently it's 100. They could decrease it to 10. No one would have any drawbacks, no one plays on such a high sense and you can still spin very fast.

It's a very simple script, just like how you move forward only when holding down the W key.

I understand, I use a 1000 dpi mouse with 1.6 sensitivity for both regular and zoom, never had a problem.
Do CS GO Developers see a logical reason for the game engine to be able to go upto 100 for a game like this? Or is it easier to come up with a reason rather than limit sensitivity to a reasonable number?
