On a 6 Win Streak Top Fragging or Near Top Every Game...No Rank Up.

I'm coming back from a year long break, and I was dropped down to S2. Currently on a 6 win streak, coming on or near top every single game. Absolutely no rank up. I had solo queued to Gold Nova Master all the way from Silver 1, but it seems like it's actually harder going from S2 to S3. Hell, even when I hit GN2, I got to GN3 the same day. I just don't understand at all.

Just to clear things up: I have mainly soloqueued from supreme to global about 5-6 times by now so I think i know a thing or two about ranking up. If you are winning 6 games in a row then that doesnt necessarily mean ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, im fairly certain that the glicko system used to determine your rank is looking at ROUND- not GAME- wins so If you win 6 games with a very close scoreline then you probably wont get as much elo compared to winning only 3 games very very convincingly. And your personal score also doesnt mean ♥♥♥♥, ive ranked up with an average number of kills of 15-18 and with insane averages of like 24 frags on like 10-14 matches. And just to add one last thing: Sometimes you jsut get unlucky and other people in your rank are improving as fast as you so you just gotta grind it out. I had times where i legit only needed like 5-6 games wit 4 wins or so to rank back up from supreme to global and then there were times where I had to drop an insane winning streak of like 10-14 games with 2 or 3 losses. This ♥♥♥♥ just happens so instead of whining in the forums how about you just git gut because lets be honest, if you would even be half decent at the game then it should be absolutely no problem for you to outright win every single game in silver on your own because people there are really really really bad

because you will have games removed due to playing with cheaters. track your win counter

silver is not a real rank. its nearly impossible to get it. its 90% trolls, cheaters and smurfs.
if u managed to get to silver, respect. i couldnt do it even when trying to.

so true. it took me months to get out of silver hell due to toxic teammates, trolls, smurfs and lack of skill. once i improved it got ez af, since I was able to solocarry my team even if they were toxic af

but now i got tf issues because i get at least 2 or 3 reports every game 😂thats a different kind of hell since it seems like i play against high tier smurfs only. its so hard to get a decent winstreak if theres a guy at least 4 ranks above yours almost every game... but i can confirm, if YOU play good you don't even derank after 3-4-5 losses and the last 2 rankups i got were after ties

Winning just 6 matches in a row doesnt guarantee a rankup regardless of rank, especially since the game focuses on rounds not on matches won which means winning 16-14 contributes nearly nothing to rankup but 16-0 contributes greatly
