Wouldn't it fall under the 7 days waiting period. Like all csgo items.

When you buy a csgo item you need to wait 7days to trade it, thank all the FREECSGOSKINSGAMBLINGVERYREALCASINO.RU websites and people using them for it :p

You can trade it after 7 days.
You can get a refund, but it is better to wait 7 days rather than filing a refund.

After purchase, this item:
  • will not be tradable for one week
  • can immediately be re-sold on the Steam Community Market

https://steamcommunity.com/market/listings/730/Berlin%202019%20Viewer%20Pass

:qr:
list it back on market or just hold it for a year or two.

send your friend a $10usd (whatever currency) digital steam code via the store. then he/she can buy the Viewer Pass.

you are running out of time though.

2-3 days wouldn't stop gambling sites, they would just accept the item and hold it.

yeah but thats not how those sites functioned, they traded back user skins in real-time. a "hold" of even just 24hrs would have crushed them out of biz.

volvo swung a bat, when all they really needed was of swift backhand glove. i guess thats all history now.

lol there are gambling sites where they trade user from user instead now and use sort of a credit system

It wouldn't tho, some of the gambling sites tried to function even with 7day cooldown, they tried but failed since people couldn't be bothered to wait 7days for their skin.

only 24hour cooldown would do nothing, if you can't withdraw today then withdraw tommorow, such a big problem :P

All Market purchases have had the 7 day trading restriction on them for years. It wasn't because of the CS:GO trade update.

look at it this way, go to Vegas, swagger up to a Blackjack table with your drink, slap a Benjamin down. Get dealt a 21 and then the dealer says. "OK come back tomorrow, we'll pay your money back plus your winnings then. would you like to play another hand?"

how long do you think that operation would stay in biz? and how many drinks in rage would be thrown in a hour there? LOL

A random gambling website made for kids =/= Actual casino

Imagine this, you add money to your steam wallet, you can use it from tommorow
Do you think that would stop people from using steam?
