50% Packet Loss Randomly
So I've been getting packet loss randomly, I could play 5 games in a row and be NONSTOP. I could also play for 2 weeks and nothing... Everytime I get packet loss, I get something like...
\src\steamnetworkingsockets\clientlib\steamnetworkingsockets_sdr_common.cpp (3262) : Assertion Failed: We didn't send all the relay stats we needed to!

It's more than just that, it fails to load some Panorama model/textures and then it's 20-50% packet loss. I have a video on my Profile showing this, here it is...
https://youtu.be/sB8MDHO0QkA

I have literally tried everything from the max_netroutable 1100-1200, switching up router settings, firewall setting, VPN, un-install, re-install, turning everything off that's running in the background, updating GPU drivers, cooling the CPU and GPU more intensively, SSD is running with 0 errors, FPS is well over 200, 900+ mbps internet speed (hardwired) turning off Windows Firewall and A/V, and literally nothing fixes it...

I've tried that and other start up commands. I've even tried removing EVERYTHING including my crosshair and seeing if it would change anything, nothing.

Anyone else ever get packet loss?
I'm sure I'm not the only one.

Packet loss is a connection issue call your isp your router might be bad
lo0nyk Jun 13, 2019 @ 1:20pm
you might have a hole in a cable :)
The Ex Jun 13, 2019 @ 1:54pm
Not my ISP, it's ONLY CSGO. I can literally play any other game and be fine.
Cable is fine, Cat6e. It's fine.
do you have the port ranges open in the router that Steam requests?

Every port needed is open, and I've even switched my PC to DMZ so it opens all ports.

DMZ? testing everything! good. but id revert that change its not the issue.

any how, do you have access to another router? swap it out. seems youve done A LOT of leg work so now is the time to pull out the heart of the beast. just buy one from a place with a solid return policy. also you cant compare "other games run fine" with Steam.

Router is not the issue. My ISP is fine. I know there are others who have this problem but ZERO solutions. I have tried other non-Steam games and everything works fine, no lag. I've tried Ping testing on CSGO and it comes back OK. When I do get packet loss, I generally get something like Texture/mirage/sky ... failed to load then it lags for a second then fine. My SSD is only a year old, I've tried it on other SSD and even an External HDD. I've verified the game files, and nothing.
There is literally nothing I haven't tried. The problem lies within CSGO and NO ONE knows wtf it is.

The issue is not with the game if that were true we would all have the same issue and we don’t

If you won’t take the advice and check your setup and just want to blame the game for it then you will never fix your problem
Meanwhile millions are enjoying the game without any issues

Take advice? I have tried everything! No one has an answer! I am blaming CSGO because this ONLY HAPPENS ON CSGO. If I can play any other game and get packet loss, without a doubt it would be a problem on MY end, not the game itself. BUT, if I have a problem with ONE game, and ONE game only... it's the GAME.

Do those games require a constant internet connection? Yes, it could be csgo, try reinstalling the entire game, a clean install of Windows would help as well. This is 99% an issue with your isp/router.

Also there isn't any need to get hostile with someone who is trying to help you get this issue sorted.

Have a good day :reisen:
