Party chat in game?

Is this a feature or not cuz i've yet to find something about it online.

Im not sure what you're asking for.. but yes there's a party "chat" ingame.

In matchmaking (mm), you could use either Voice-chat (your team only), Team chat (typing) and All chat (typing so enemies also can see it).

In deathmatch and some other game-modes you could use voice-chat to talk to everybody on the server, or use All-chat.

You could use Voice_enable 1 in the console to activate voice-chat if disabled (if the volume is to low, use voice_scale and set a number after), you also need to setup your audio options to choose a "talk key" or voice activation.

Default for typing in chat/teamchat is Y and U

Yeah obviously i know all of this but you what i'm asking for is the chat that you have when you're queuing with people, as in the chat you have in the lobby except for in game

In your csgo game options you got a lot of nice options for that. You can mute enemies, teammates, hide pictures etc.

Ok so what about just being able to open party chat just like any other chat kinda like tf2?

Voice chat is available in the lobby, just hold down the push to talk key and start talking while in a party in the lobby.
