I have a skin changer and I have recently thought about if it could be bannable, It doesn't give an advantage, neither it is a cheat?

haha, but im 100% sure tho. It's not a cheat and ik i 100% wont get vacced, however it might kick me with a vac error of messing with gamefiles

Skin changer is a 3rd party mod, which will result in a VAC ban.
You may not use Cheats, automation software (bots), mods, hacks, or any other unauthorized third-party software.

VAC bans are permanent and will not be removed.
Valve understand this can be frustrating, but they must maintain a zero tolerance policy for hacking to foster a fair system that all players will enjoy.

Best way to use a skin changer is to just stfu about it. Afterall you are using it knowing you cant flex your skins. So why talk about it?

normally through a DLL dynamic link library. this dlls can be filtered and searched

I Don't consider skinchangers cheating, because you are not affecting the gameplay in any sort of way shape or form, the changes are ONLY Clientside.

In fact making your own skinchanger can be a fun project, good way to learn some basic reverse engineering & memory editing techniques, and also a money saver.
