For my own preferrings.. I prefer anything between 27-34 inches. That's what I prefer. But for a fps shooter.. a 24 inch is fine. I prefer 27 inches over it tho.. idk. It's your money, your decision.
Take care bud.
Amigo the OP is asking for a screen while he's on a budget and you all come in telling him to get some ineffective bigger monitor he doesn't need.
In tournaments.. I see 24 inches most but I do also sometimes see 27 inches soooo yeah.
Tournaments are sponsored and if you pay them enough you can have them play on 48" 30hz televisions.
Can't remeber which tournament but I know atleast one had XL2730 displays because thats what I have.
Your accusing me of dis-information when your claiming things as facts without evidence to back it up. I haven't claimed any fact I've just contested your view isn't a fact.
Example. Figures for example purposes only.
A person with a 24" display 2" from their face will have the same field of view as if they had a 27" display 3 inches away from their face.
Now as for closeness would help a person aim better as the pixels are closer/bigger argument. You'd be correct. But the closer a person is to the display the less the see in their peripheral vision.
SO there are counter points to your argument smaller and closer is better for shooters. If you can provide evidence that clearly defines the best distance/size of a screen for aiming without sacrificing peripheral vision by all means link it.

There's also pages on other peripherals like mice, keyboards, headsets, etc. They rank them based on what the pros use.
Same reason lots of em play on low resolutions and stretched. Preference. Just because a professional anything chooses to
drive x car
own x phone
wear x trainers
etc etc etc
doesn't mean it's the best. Just means it's THEIR preference. That said. OP would probable lack the funds for a decent display bigger than 24" anyway and the one they listed is fine for what they want it for.
Herre comes awar saviours
Unlike some people..
SOME..

Your the one claiming your opinion as FACTS. I pointed out your so called facts are not facts and are merely your opinion. Your the one still claiming opinions and preferences as facts. I haven't done neither. I pointed out there are both positives and negatives when it comes to size of display and its positioning.
If all Formula 1 drivers drive a BMW M series in their free time, this actually means something. If all the olympic runners wear Asics running shoes in their free time this means a lot too.
But none of that means any of them is the best. I'm talking scientific research to back up what you claim. You have none. So CSGO Pro this and that but that's still their preferences none of that is backed up by scientific research.
