P250 X-Ray price

Hey, so everyone can buy the package with the p250 in it (without the scan option) and afaik it's random which quality the weapon has (factory new etc.), right? So when I look at the market why is the price even of factory new skin just at 1,50 euro when it's the best aviable quality and the package costs 2,20 euro? Sounds like a good deal actually... O.o
Edit: Ok it's aviable in Stattrak aswell für 7,50 Euro, but still. Even the FN normal one is way cheaper than the package. :o

People buy it, realize they don't like it and when it's time to sell, there are competitors. That's the supply and demand rule. Works for all case openings, not just the P250 case opening...

Yeah I know but I still wonder why the price is so low. That's like you've an own store, buy stuff for X money but sell it for less. You wanna get at least a bit of profit, right? I could understand when the lesser quality skins are worth below 2,20 euro but even factory new? :O That's surprising for me!

The price is actually higher than the box in the first few hours. A fierce competition happened for low floats. Took me many tries to finally snatch one low float from the market. For the rest, they just appear for that 1 second. When you click the purchase button, you'd get "sorry the item has been bought by someone else".

The low floats were initially overpriced to $100. Then to $50, and to $30.

Your theory is correct. There is greed. If the P250 package became a limited time offer and will no longer happen in the future, it can be worth up to hundreds since a trade up is not possible. It's actually a really nice looking skin. It could become another expensive skin such as Desert Eagle Blaze.

Currently, many players are buying it, most are just out of curiosity. Some are probably trying to profit with a stattrak (10% chance). As the gambling rules suggest, it's either to win a little or lose it all. Therefore non stattraks became cheaper.

Yeah you're right the whole way, what I don't understand is that the mp5 labrats are so cheap because they're a limited edition (and as we know normally those things are more expensive). Okay, everyone got that skin for a limited amount of time without paying anything.

Either way. What do you think? Will the price decrease for normal and/or stattrack skins? Not sure if I should get one or not. Just for collecting purposes...

I agree with the labrats skin, no matter what people say, it was a very limited skin with a higher value trough time, maybe like the summer and winter cases from 20-13/14 and even more, because you can still buy those cases and get your desired skin, but the mp5 has to be bought if you don't own it yet. Anyway, the weapon itself is not that good, this means a lower price. the story could be different if instead of that, we got an ak with the rats pattern.

I think it will not become expensive overtime, because trade ups are not possible, hence the supply stayed the same. It's going to be another MP5 lab rat.

However, the lowest float will be king and lowest float stattrak would be God in the eyes of collectors. Because that's the best and it is no longer able to obtain another with a better float. Hence, the France players with vanilla (perfect 0 float) should value what they have.
