Is i5 2500K too old even for all low settings

I'm running Gigabyte Pa67a-udr3, i5 2500k 3.30 overclocked to 4.0 with GTX1060 SSC 6gb 120GB SSD 8GB ddr3 Win10 LG 34 ultrawide144hz and it runs Overwatch somewhat around 144fps on all low settings. But CSGO, all low settings ratio 4:3 only spikes up to 150fps and mostly sets at 90fps also picture is very bad and hard to spot enemies.Both Cpu and Gpu temp are around 60-70c. Any recommendations to get better performance out of this decade old system, or is it time to upgrade this junk ,cheers

Have you tried a few benchmarks? The 1060 + i5 + 8GB and possibly the SSD if it is nearly full, do throw up flags when thinking 120fps or more. However, I do not feel it is impossible for that system. What I mean by this, is you will need to do a bit more searching yourself, by keeping up stats on screen during a benchmark. My guess is the Video Card could be bottlenecking with the CPU and possibly the hard drive. The only reason I mention the 8GB ram is that these days, that is the bare minimum for pc gaming.

120fps? even everything on low ? yea the SSD is 120GB and 15GB free space , GPU bottleneck even 1060 6gb?? what can i use for benchmarks ,, sorry if im asking to spoonfeed

Yes, hard drives & solid state drives operate slower as they reach capacity. The GPU and CPU can bottleneck for some obscure reasons.
